SLEDOG FOREST FIREFLY - Indy is looking for a new home.
Indy has returned to us as his owner has moved in with a new partner who already has 2 male dogs. Although Indy gets on with one of the dogs, he is less tolerant of the other and it has been decided to rehome him.
Indy is 4 years old and neutered. We are looking for a home with either no other dogs or a bitch. Indy is from working lines and would make a great potential working dog. Indy is full of get up and go, so will suit a busy lifestyle. A very loving, friendly, bouncy dog, he is used to being a house pet so would prefer to live indoors. He has lived with cats before and has been around children with no issues. He walks nicely on the lead, responds to various commands and is a very quick learner. He has no behaviour issues, but could benefit from polishing up his manners. He is OK with other dogs in the main, but does not tolerate all males. Indy will need an active home, ideally working. Any children should be over 5 years of age. He should live as either an only dog or with a bitch. He is up to date with his inoculations & worming. He is neutered, microchipped and KC registered. His parents’ copy health test certificates and pedigree will be provided.
This is what his previous owner said about him - "Aside from the above small issues with other male dogs, his behaviour is, and I truly mean this, nothing short of fabulous. He is lovely to have around the house, absolutely loves every person he has ever met. No destructive habits. Happy on his own for periods when in a routine. Will sit, give paw when asked & will only eat when given permission to do so."
